Pick ‘n’ Pint Calendar
Picking up litter shouldn’t be a chore, and we don’t expect it to be. We’ll do what we can to look for ways to make it a fun and sociable activity for all members of the community. One activity can take place at any time, and we expect to have one every couple of weeks through the summer, is Pick ‘n’ Pint.
Pink ‘n’ Pint is just that; we meet at a local pub, get organised and head out. We split into small groups and each tackles a street or other area for an hour or so. We all then head back in the pub for a drink and chat. The more people that turn up the more litter we pick, the better our town becomes.
Dudley MBC collects the litter bags from the pub the next day.

Just to let you know I won’t be at Wednesday’s tidy-up and possibly not for the next event. Will monitor this website for future picks.

I would say that the 1st of September pick n pint will be the last one until the 2nd week of April next year when the sunset returns back to after 8pm.
Have a look at the CPRE webiste. Their “Stop the Drop” campaign has a new action plan to change the law regarding liitter being thrown from moving vehicles. There’s a form to write to your MP in support of the proposed changes.
Dave, excellent last night first time for Roger, Christine, Teagan, Ella and Richard. Great turnout and plenty of rubbish collected. Thanks very much for the great organisation, cheers Roger.
